Words from the President
Alameda County Probation
It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to serve as your 2019 California Probation Parole and Correctional Association (CPPCA) President. I am humbled that you would place your faith and trust in me. This is a responsibility that I do not take lightly, and I will endeavor to represent you with the utmost transparency and boldness. But, none of this would be possible without the support of our members, executive board, chapters, delegates and your respected departments.
I am honored to follow in the lineup of people who have provided guidance for our association in the past; each of our past Presidents has brought a different vision with them and all have proven to have different strengths. I am no different. I want to promote, advocate and support the CPPCA to its fullest potential in 2019. I hope that you will support me as you’ve supported those Presidents who have come before me.
Looking forward into my year I can see how much time and energy will go into the smooth running of the association, but I will do my best to represent the CPPCA and uphold its mission. I look forward to seeing you at the 88th Annual Training Conference & Vendor Show this August 27-30, 2019, at the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel.
